Environmental Manager - Mountain Region

Role: Area Environmental Manager - Cement Location: WY, UT, CO, NE Compensation: $125k - $155k + Bonus Key responsibilities: Lead environmental compliance across MCC operations Interpret and implement EPA, WDEQ, NPDES, RCRA, MSHA, OSHA, and state regulations Guide supervisors and employees on environmental and safety requirements Maintain permits, records, reports, and regulatory documentation Serve as MCC’s liaison with EPA, WDEQ, and other regulatory agencies Coordinate inspections, audits, monitoring, and agency submissions Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions Communicate compliance objectives and track performance Educate, coach, and motivate employees on environmental and safety standards Support cement manufacturing operations while minimizing environmental risk Investigate incidents, resolve compliance issues, and prevent recurrence Promote ethical decision-making and a strong culture of compliance Requirements: Must have a B.S. degree in the Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field Must have a fundamental understanding of all state and federal riles and regulations in the stated territory Familiarity with air quality, water quality, stormwater, wastewater, hazardous materials, and solid and hazardous waste regulations
