Role Description The Environmental Consultant is a full-time, remote role responsible for providing expert guidance on environmental issues, projects, and policies. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research and analysis on environmental impacts, preparing detailed assessment reports, and advising on mitigation measures for projects and programs. The consultant will review activities for environmental compliance, support environmental planning, and contribute to the design of sustainable solutions tailored to local contexts. The role involves collaborating with partners and stakeholders, presenting findings in clear written and oral formats, and supporting capacity-building and advocacy efforts related to environmental protection. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Consulting. Candidates should possess expertise in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Science. Candidates should possess advanced Report Writing skills, including the ability to produce clear, data-driven environmental reports. Relevant academic background in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field. Experience working on environmental projects, preferably in developing or fragile contexts. Strong analytical and research abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an asset. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
