Laboratory Assistant

We’re looking for a Junior Lab Assistant to join our Science team in Piracicaba. In this role, you will be the backbone of our day-to-day laboratory operations, making sure that every sampling kit, sample and record is handled with precision, consistency and care to support InPlanet’s mission of large-scale carbon removal.
You will assemble water sampling kits, receive and filter samples, register them in our system and keep the lab clean and organized. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and reliable: someone who enjoys a structured routine and takes pride in getting the small things right every single time.

Your work is the first link in the chain between our field operations and scientific validation. Every correctly labeled kit and every well-documented sample makes sure our CO₂ removal data is traceable and reliable from day one.
This is an entry-level, hands-on role: consistency is everything. By keeping our kits, samples and lab running smoothly, you free up the Science team to focus on analysis, and you get a front-row seat to how a climate tech lab works.
