Sustainability Manager

🚀 Sustainability Manager, Assurance | GHG & ESG 🌎 Remote ⚡ Full-Time Company: Storm4's client is an established energy and sustainability solutions provider supporting commercial and industrial organizations with energy management, environmental compliance, resilience, and sustainability initiatives. They're looking for a Sustainability Manager to lead and scale their GHG and ESG assurance function, owning engagement delivery, quality, methodology, team development, and client relationships. ✅ Responsibilities: Lead GHG and ESG assurance engagements from scoping and planning through fieldwork, reporting, and statement issuance Build and continuously improve assurance methodologies, quality controls, workpapers, review processes, and engagement standards Review Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 inventories, calculation methodologies, emission factors, data controls, and reporting boundaries Lead and develop assurance professionals while managing engagement capacity, schedules, budgets, quality, and risk Partner with senior clients and cross-functional sustainability, energy, engineering, data, and compliance teams ✅ Qualifications: 4-7 years of experience across sustainability, climate, ESG, GHG accounting, audit, verification, or assurance Demonstrated experience conducting and reviewing audit, verification, or assurance engagements Strong knowledge of the GHG Protocol and Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 accounting Current LCSAP, PCS AP, or equivalent Lead/Practicing sustainability assurance practitioner credential Strong people, project, client, and quality-management capabilities in a virtual environment ✅ Why Apply: Own and help scale a growing GHG and ESG assurance program Fully remote position with occasional company-paid travel Work across complex sustainability assurance and reporting challenges Comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k) company match, PTO, paid volunteer time, insurance, and remote-work reimbursement 📧 Interested?
