We’re hiring: ESG Consultant (Mid-Level) — FTSE Russell ESG Scores & ISSB Disclosure

Othello International Co., Ltd. (Official Thailand Headquarters) · Bangkok, Bangkok City, Thailand · On-site · Full-time

ABOUT US Othello ESG Consultant Co., Ltd. is the ESG advisory company of Othello International, a Bangkok-based firm that helps SET- and mai-listed companies measure, manage and disclose their sustainability performance to the standards that investors, raters and regulators now apply. Our work covers FTSE Russell ESG Score readiness and gap analysis, IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 (TSRS) disclosure, TGO carbon footprint for organisations and products (CFO/CFP), ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas inventories including Scope 3, climate risk and scenario analysis, and ESG policy development — with every deliverable produced in native-quality Thai and English. We are a licensed Training Partner of the IFRS Foundation for the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) in Thailand, delivering the official ISSB Disclosure Training. Our consultants therefore work from the same licensed material that we teach to listed companies. WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW From December 2026 the Stock Exchange of Thailand publishes FTSE Russell ESG Scores for assessed listed companies, replacing SET ESG Ratings, and asset managers begin referencing the scores from 2027. At the same time, the SEC’s ISSB-based disclosure rules are phasing in for listed companies. Boards now want to know three things: why their score is what it is, what to disclose to improve it, and how to do this in a way that also meets IFRS S1 and IFRS S2. You will be the person who answers those questions for our clients. WHAT YOU WILL DO FTSE Russell ESG Scores • Run indicator-level gap analyses of a client’s FTSE Russell ESG Score: confirm the ICB sub-sector and theme exposures, map what the 56-1 One Report, sustainability report, policies and website already disclose against the themes and indicators that apply, and identify where public evidence is missing, out of date or not verifiable. • Turn the gaps into a prioritised, costed action plan that management can approve — quick wins for the next assessment cycle and structural changes for the following one. • Draft the missing disclosures, policies and website content so that every claim is supported by publicly available evidence, in both Thai and English. • Support clients through the annual cycle: the ESG Data Platform (SETLink) submission for voluntary participants, the bilingual publication of the export, and the company review window after FTSE Russell’s assessment. • Advise on the quantitative data that benefits from independent verification (for example GHG emissions, energy, health and safety) and coordinate assurance readiness with verification bodies. • Track related ratings and indices — FTSE4Good, the climate theme and Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) management-quality assessment, MSCI, S&P Global CSA — and explain to clients how disclosure choices affect each. ISSB disclosure (IFRS S1 / IFRS S2 / TSRS) • Lead IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 readiness assessments: governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets, including the identification of sustainability- and climate-related risks and opportunities. • Support climate scenario analysis and climate resilience assessments, Scope 1, 2 and 3 metrics, and transition plans and targets. • Align the client’s FTSE Russell improvements with its ISSB roadmap, so that one set of disclosures serves both the rater and the regulator. Reporting and client delivery • Draft and review the ESG and climate sections of 56-1 One Reports and sustainability reports against SET/SEC requirements, GRI and IFRS S2, working with our disclosure linguists to keep the Thai and English editions consistent. • Own the work plan, timeline and quality of your engagements; lead client workshops; present findings to sustainability teams, CFOs and senior management. • Prepare benchmarking against sector peers’ public disclosures. • Contribute technical content to proposals and keep the team current on SET, SEC, FTSE Russell and ISSB updates. Training (optional pathway) • Support our ISSB Disclosure Training classes and in-house client workshops. Consultants who wish to can work towards nomination as a trainer under our licence, which requires passing the IFRS Foundation’s trainer onboarding and assessment. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • At least 4 years’ hands-on experience in ESG or sustainability consulting, ESG ratings, sustainability reporting or climate disclosure — at a consultancy, an audit/assurance firm, a rating or data provider, or the sustainability or investor-relations team of a listed company. Applicants with less experience will not be considered. • Direct experience with at least one of: FTSE Russell ESG Scores or SET ESG Ratings (questionnaire, ESG Data Platform, or score review); S&P Global CSA / DJSI; MSCI ESG Ratings; CDP. • Proven drafting: you can point to at least one published 56-1 One Report or sustainability report whose ESG or climate content you wrote. • Working knowledge of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 / TCFD, GRI, the GHG Protocol, and SET/SEC sustainability disclosure requirements. • An analytical, evidence-based approach: you read methodology documents closely and can explain clearly why a disclosure does or does not earn credit. • Professional fluency in written and spoken Thai, at the level needed to draft formal disclosures and regulatory filings for SET-listed companies, together with excellent professional English (TOEIC 750+ or equivalent). Your drafting in both languages will be assessed. • The existing right to work in Thailand. We are unable to sponsor a visa or work permit for this role. • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Bangkok, and able to work on-site in Sathorn with travel to client sites. • A bachelor’s degree in environmental science or engineering, sustainability, finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is an advantage. Advantages • FSA Credential (IFRS Foundation), GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, CFA ESG Certificate, or IFRS sustainability e-learning certificates of completion • TGO Climate Action Academy CFO training or a listing on the TGO consultant register • Experience with SET’s ESG Data Platform, data assurance (ISO 14064-3, AA1000AS, ISSA 5000 / TSSA 5000), or climate scenario analysis • A background in a sector with high ESG exposure, such as energy, utilities, property, financial services, food and agriculture, or industrials WHAT WE OFFER • Substantive, visible work at the moment Thai listed companies’ ESG scores become public for the first time • Firm-funded professional development: the FSA Credential (Level I and II exam fees), access to our licensed ISSB Disclosure Training, and support for TGO consultant registration • A clear route to trainer nomination under our ISSB Training Partner licence for those who want it • A small, senior team where your work reaches clients’ boards directly • Competitive salary based on experience, group health insurance, Social Security and statutory benefits • Office in Sathorn, Bangkok, Monday to Friday
