Environmental Specialist

Position Summary: The Environmental Specialist assists in data collection, reporting, and operation of environmental systems, potentially supervising field staff across multiple divisions. Key Responsibilities Monitor and report environmental data, conduct storm water compliance inspections, sampling, and maintain records according to plans and permits. Engage in public relations and coordinate with management and regulatory agencies. Perform site audits, analyze environmental reports, and assist with sampling and reporting activities. Oversee environmental projects, landfill monitoring, and operation of gas and leachate systems. Manage vendor activities, ensure compliance through data review, and coordinate environmental training for staff. Support project management for construction activities and perform other related duties. Qualifications & Skills Thorough knowledge of environmental regulations related to air, water, waste, and recycling. Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills. Ability to interpret technical documents and adhere to safety and company policies. Minimum Requirements Four years of experience or education in environmental science, engineering, geology, or related field.
