ESG Consultant – Carbon Footprint (TGO CFO / CFP)

About Othello Othello ESG Consultant Co., Ltd. is the ESG advisory company of Othello International. We help Thai companies, from SET-listed groups to export manufacturers, measure, reduce and disclose their greenhouse gas emissions. Our services include TGO carbon footprint for organisations and products, ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas inventories, ISO 14067 product carbon footprints, IFRS S1/S2 sustainability disclosure and FTSE Russell ESG readiness. All of our work is delivered in Thai and English. Othello is a licensed Training Partner of the IFRS Foundation for ISSB Disclosure Training in Thailand. The Role We are looking for an experienced carbon footprint consultant to lead CFO and CFP engagements from kick-off through verification and TGO registration. You will work directly with clients' management, operations and factory teams, and you will own the quality of every report you deliver. Key Responsibilities Carbon Footprint for Organisations (CFO) • Define organisational and operational boundaries, base year and emission sources under TGO requirements • Plan and manage data collection with client teams, including site visits • Calculate Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions using TGO emission factors • Prepare the CFO report and calculation workbook in TGO format • Prepare clients for third-party verification and respond to verifier findings • Support clients through TGO registration and certification Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) • Lead product carbon footprint studies under TGO's CFP guidelines and ISO 14067 • Set the functional unit, system boundary and product category rules (PCR) • Build the life-cycle inventory and calculate the product carbon footprint • Prepare the CFP report for verification and the TGO carbon footprint label Reporting and Advisory • Prepare ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas inventories, including Scope 3 screening • Turn carbon results into disclosure content for annual reports, sustainability reports and IFRS S2, in Thai and English • Advise clients on reduction targets and reduction measures • Contribute to proposals and training classes, and coach junior team members Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering, chemical or industrial engineering, energy, sustainability or a related field • At least 4 years' hands-on experience in carbon footprint or greenhouse gas consulting • Proven experience leading TGO CFO engagements through verification. Experience with CFP is strongly preferred. • Completed TGO Climate Action Academy training in organisational carbon footprint assessment, with the course certificate • Strong knowledge of TGO's CFO and CFP guidelines, ISO 14064-1, ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol • Advanced Excel skills • Professional working proficiency in written and spoken Thai and English. The role involves writing client reports in both languages. • Authorisation to work in Thailand.
