Champion Family is looking for Manager - Solar Energy Job Description / Responsibility Business Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute business strategies, operational plans, and sales targets for the Solar Energy Division to drive growth and profitability. Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships with key B2B clients, and secure solar installation projects across commercial, industrial (C&I), and residential sectors. Project Execution: Oversee the complete solar project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and engineering design to procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and final delivery. Regulatory Compliance & Grid Integration: Ensure compliance with government regulations, licensing requirements, and applicable electrical standards. Manage net metering, grid synchronization, and coordination with BPDB, DESCO, DPDC, BREB, and SREDA. Procurement & Supply Chain: Manage vendor selection, supplier negotiations, procurement, and inventory of solar modules, inverters, and Balance of System (BOS) components. Financial Management: Oversee the division’s P&L, budget planning, revenue forecasting, cost control, and overall business performance. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and expand the technical, engineering, and sales teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high performance. Quality & Safety Assurance: Supervise project implementation, ensuring installation quality, engineering standards, electrical safety, and regulatory compliance. Client Relations & O&M: Build long-term client relationships and establish effective Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable system performance. Educational Requirements Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Certification in Renewable Energy Management, Solar PV Design, or related fields. Skills Required: Inverter, Solar system design, B2B and B2C sales and marketing, Battery Industry Experience Requirements 8 to 12 year(s) The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Trading or Export/Import, Power, Solar Energy Additional Requirements Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and B2B communication skills. In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and government energy policies in Bangladesh. Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking. Job Location Dhaka (Uttara Sector 3)
