Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) Amvion Labs Pvt Ltd United States · Remote Full-time · Executive About the Role We are seeking an experienced Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) to lead corporate sustainability strategy, environmental initiatives, ESG programs, and long-term sustainable business development. The ideal candidate will bring extensive executive leadership experience, strong strategic vision, and a proven ability to integrate sustainability practices into business operations while supporting organizational growth and long-term value creation. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive corporate sustainability strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives across the organization. Establish sustainability goals, performance indicators, and long-term strategic priorities. Oversee environmental risk management, resource efficiency, and sustainability programs. Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and reporting requirements. Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, operations, technology, and compliance teams. Identify opportunities to improve environmental performance and operational sustainability. Develop sustainability policies, corporate responsibility programs, and internal standards. Monitor emerging sustainability trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices. Build strategic relationships with business partners, industry organizations, and external stakeholders. Lead sustainability reporting, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide executive leadership and the board of directors with sustainability reports and strategic recommendations. Background and Experience At least 15 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental strategy, ESG, corporate responsibility, or related fields. Previous senior leadership experience as a Chief Sustainability Officer, Vice President of Sustainability, ESG Director, or comparable executive. Proven experience developing and implementing corporate sustainability strategies. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and corporate governance. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex sustainability initiatives. Strong understanding of environmental risk management, responsible business practices, and operational efficiency. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills. Ability to manage geographically distributed teams in a remote working environment. Experience in technology, industrial operations, or other growth-oriented industries is preferred. A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
