We are looking for a Jr. Sustainability Analyst (LCA Specialist) to join our growing Global Capability Center in Costa Rica. In this role, you will support global sustainability initiatives through Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) evaluations, sustainability analytics, and decarbonization projects that help shape the future of our products and operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build expertise in sustainability, carbon accounting, environmental impact assessment, and sustainable product development within a global organization. What You'll Do ✅ Conduct and support Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations across Indovinya's global product portfolio. ✅ Analyze environmental data from manufacturing sites, suppliers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders worldwide. ✅ Build and maintain sustainability models using recognized LCA methodologies and software tools. ✅ Identify environmental hotspots and opportunities to reduce carbon emissions and improve product sustainability. ✅ Support Scope 3 emissions evaluations and product decarbonization initiatives. ✅ Collaborate with Sustainability, Product Stewardship, Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams across multiple regions. ✅ Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that transform technical sustainability findings into clear business insights. ✅ Contribute to customer sustainability requests, ESG reporting activities, and sustainability disclosures. ✅ Research emerging sustainability trends, carbon accounting standards, and industry best practices. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Sustainability, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 0-2 years of experience in sustainability, environmental analysis, engineering, data analytics, or related areas. Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to manage large datasets and work with technical information. Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) through academic projects, internships, or professional experience. Familiarity with sustainability standards and methodologies such as: ISO 14040 ISO 14044 ISO 14067 GHG Protocol Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) methodologies Experience with sustainability tools such as: SimaPro GaBi OpenLCA Experience with Power BI or sustainability reporting dashboards. Background in the chemical manufacturing industry is a plus. Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are highly desirable.
