We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media & Marketing Specialist to help build and strengthen our brand presence in Ireland. The Role & What You’ll Do Joining our Ireland team on a 1-year freelance contract, you’ll be the local voice and creative force behind Swappie Ireland across social media, creator collaborations, and community channels: Content Creation & Editing: Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos and photo content (using CapCut and Canva) on location around Ireland for TikTok and Instagram Reels, including unboxings, product demos, street interviews, trends, and behind-the-scenes content. Community & Voice: Manage daily community interactions on Instagram and TikTok: replying to comments and DMs in a warm, witty Irish tone of voice, while building a loyal group of local brand advocates and flagging critical feedback to the Country Manager. Creator & Influencer Support: Help identify local Irish creators, manage influencer outreach, track deliverables and invoices, and support UGC sourcing for both organic and paid channels. Localised CRM & Copywriting: Help write, localise, and check engaging Irish copy for CRM emails (in Braze), push notifications, blog posts, and website content, keeping our local tone of voice consistent. Local Campaigns: Keep our Irish content calendar up to date, built around key local moments (Back to School, Black Friday, Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day). Collaboration: Work closely with the Country Manager, Social Media Manager, and our Ireland consultant on shared projects while keeping asset tracking and filing systems up to date. What We’re Looking For Fluent English with a deep, natural feel for Irish culture, humour, and online trends A degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). Ideally 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing. Hands-on experience creating mobile-first, short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels (your own personal channels or portfolio count!). Comfortable both in front of and behind the camera. Proficient with tools like CapCut and Canva, with an interest in leveraging modern tools to streamline creative workflows. Proactive, organised, and reliable with a hands-on, can-do attitude. Nice to Have Experience with influencer outreach, community management, or CRM tools (e.g., Braze, WordPress, Notion). An interest in sustainability and circular tech. Basic reporting skills.
