Performance control & Sustainability section head - Cement

MISSION Ensuring environmental and social sustainability while optimizing operational performance. To drive the integration of sustainability principles into core business strategies while ensuring rigorous performance control mechanisms that enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and long-term value creation. The Performance Control & Sustainability Section Head shall report directly to and be fully responsible before the Production Manager. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES – AUTHORITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals. Promote circular economy practices, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and voluntary frameworks like GRI, CDP, and TCFD. Establish KPIs and dashboards for tracking operational performance. Lead audits and internal reviews to assess performance gaps and improvement opportunities. Align sustainability metrics with business performance indicators. Work with operations, finance, supply chain, and HR to embed sustainability across the value chain. Support innovation in products and processes that enhance both sustainability and competitiveness. Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders through transparent reporting. Lead sustainability reporting initiatives and ensure data integrity for disclosures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field. Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in engineering and technical studies within industrial companies and large food processing factories. Good command of English. Strong leadership skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to research, analyze, and draw conclusions. Ability to write technical reports.
